Wavio is a serif roman typeface designed with clear readability and moderate contrast. The inspiration for  this typeface came from Rome marble pillar. Due to gravity, they got solid stems standing straight on the ground. Spirals on Rome pillars were inspected by our terminals and ears. As well as wavy serifs, they were to make sure that pillars can hold Pantheon.

Generally rounded shape and wavy baseline not only makes Wavio a great choice for smaller-size text, but expressing more interesting details while seeing it large. Try Wavio with highlighted quotes, heavy texts, or anyting interesting. Our wavy baseline will add a romantic peculiarity to all of them.
